Summary

During this semester, we focused on fully developing a web application called Chez Natalie, a bed and breakfast offering yoga sessions and bike rentals. We worked in a Scrum team, organizing our work into sprints and regularly presenting sprint demos to the client to gather feedback and improve the product iteratively. Throughout this process, we not only strengthened important soft skills such as teamwork, communication, and adaptability, but also significantly improved our technical expertise, particularly in working with Laravel.

Scrum

From our perspective, Scrum helped us structure our work and stay aligned as a team throughout the project. By working in sprints and regularly presenting demos, we were able to gather feedback early, adjust quickly, and continuously improve our application. It also strengthened our communication, teamwork, and sense of responsibility, which are essential skills in IT.

Laravel

In this project, we used Laravel to build our web application in a clear and organized way. We mainly worked in PhpStorm and occasionally used Codex CLI to help us write and understand code more efficiently. These tools allowed us to create a smooth user experience while improving our coding skills and overall development workflow.

End result

We are very satisfied with the final result of our project. The Chez Natalie web application reflects the effort we put in throughout the semester, and it shows how much we have grown both technically and as a team. We learned a lot during this process, from improving our coding skills to working more efficiently together, which makes this project a valuable experience for our future in IT.
